项目描述
一、Description
The Ministry of the Tourism Industry of Kazakhstan (MTIK), Rixos Hotel Group (Rixos) and JSC Samruk-Kazyna (SK) are planning to develop the Kenderli Resort in Kenderli bay, Mangystau, Kazakhstan.
The project involves the construction of 20 hotels, cottages, villas, an aqua park, shopping centers, entertainment facilities, theaters, access roads, water and power supply systems and the installation of power-related facilities.
The project will be developed in several phases.
In August 2014, MTIK and SK signed a cooperation agreement with Rixos to implement the first phase of the project. As part of the first phase of the project, it is planned to build two hotels, water park and cottages.
In May 2016, A German consortium consisting of Analoga GmbH and CESA Invest are studying the investment climate and legislation of Kazakhstan to invest up to US$557 million in the first phase of the project.
Planning activities are underway.
二、Background
The project’s aim to provide a diverse range of facilities in the Mangystau region, comprising residential, entertainment, leisure, healthcare and retail facilities to enhance tourism.
The project is designed to be open all year round, with both indoor and outdoor facilities.
The project will generate 54,000 job opportunities.
